(Born April 11, 1925) Irene Gertrude Jones (Busawa) passed away after a courageous battle with Arthritis, surrounded by her grandchildren and children on January 30, 2003, at the age of 77. The Creator has called her to rejoin with her husband William (Bill). She will be sadly missed by her great grandchildren Ginesse, Nicholas , Nelson, Destinee, Devin, Jenna, Rylan, Alaska and Hailee all whom loved her dearly. Her grandchildren Shelley, Rodney, Jennifer, Shera, Kristen (Jack), Angela (Derick), Holly Anne, Cynthia (Lloyd), Myron, Arthur (A.J.), Ginger, Tyana, Rainey, Steve and Alisha and her children Bernard (Marilynn), Peggy (Rayno), Gail (Art), Sam (Gina), Wendy (Ray), Stephanie (Mike) and Tim (Rhonda). Sister of Melvina (late Tom), Dolphus (late Ernestine), Mae, Marcella, Elizabeth (Glen), Rene (Celina), Tim and the late Leonard (late Elvina), Francis (Helen), Ben & Bill. Sister-in-law to Gordon (Liz), John (Agnes), Jessie (Garnet), Bob (Celine) and the late Clifford, Rose and Patsy. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Garden River Community Centre on Saturday, February 1st from 7pm. until time of funeral service on Monday, February 3rd at 1 pm. Rev. Norman Fortier officiating. Interment at Garden River Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family.
