Donald John Jones, in his 76th year, passed away at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto on Friday, May 9, 2003. In deepest sorrow we have lost a much-loved and respected husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Husband and best friend for more than 51 years to Jean Jones of Goulais River, Ontario. Loving father of Cindy Peltsch (Klaus), Trudy Carroll (Don), Margaret Pavoni (Paul), Tim Jones, and Mary-Lou Desmoulin. Teacher, friend and special grandpa to twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Son of the late John and Rose Jones. Brother to Ownie Jones (Lois), Norman Jones (Bonnie), Margaret Groen (Hans), Luella Ambeault (Harold), and predeceased by Arnold Jones. Nephew and friend to a very special uncle, Gerald Jones (June). We have been blessed tremendously by the greatness of this man and we are left with life-long memorial of his love, kindness, patience, generosity and strength. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, May 14 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, May 15 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
