JAMES, Rubbie “Ruby”

Peacefully surrounded by family at the FJ Davey Home on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth. Loving mother of Dianna Pritchard (Ted) and Richard (Mary). Cherished grandma of Pamela Pritchard, Sandra Pritchard (Robin Boys), Barbara McMillan (Howard) and Krista James (Cory Furkey). Great grandmother of Curtis and Jordan McMillan, Annika Boys, Alex and Nick Nawratil. Predeceased by her brothers Everett and Nelson Spires and her sisters Lorraine Law and Dorothy Bemis. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Special friend of Bud Stoneham and Helen Trudeau. Rubbie was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 414 in Woodbridge, Ontario for 62 years. At Rubbie’s request, a private visitation and funeral service were held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, November 1, 2012. Mrs. Mary Alice Policicchio officiated. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the March of Dimes would be appreciated by the family. A heartfelt thank you and appreciation to the FJ Davey Home staff of Apple Orchard One.
