Peacefully on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in her 83rd year, surrounded by family at the F.J. Davey Home. Loving wife of the late Allan Laverne Jacobs. Loving mother of Susan Kanaan (George) and Bob (Cynthia). Cherished grandmother of Bradley (Shawna) and Lindsey. Great grandmother of Camille and Cale. Daughter of the late Mildred and Jim Breckon and John Lucy. Sister of Mary, Beverley, Johnny and the late Mildred. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. A private family service was held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. Memorial contributions to ARCH would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank the Cedar 1 staff of the F.J. Davey Home for the compassionate and loving care of Barbara the past two years.
