It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Ingram (Tom) at Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) on Friday, November 3, 2017 with his wife and daughter by his side. Loving husband and best friend of Norma. Devoted father of Tomi-Jo Legault (Mark). Grandfather of Melissa (Patrick) and Great Grandfather of Owen. Pre-deceased by his father George and mother Dorothy, brothers Jimmy (Delores) and Michael (Heather). Son-in-law of the late Mim and Stella Mancini. Brother-in-law of Marilyn Vernelli (Anthony), and Maria Klooster (George). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. We would like to thank our family, friends and neighbours for their many acts of kindness during Tom’s illness. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Tull, Dr. Rassouli, Paula Greco, Dr. Pearce, Dr. Slagle, Dr. Costain and the nurses and doctors on 3A – SAH. We also want to thank all those who made it possible for Tom to remain at home until the end. Thank you to Nurse Practitioner Rita Mannarino and the nurses of Bay Shore Home Health, especially Lee for her help and compassion. Thank you to all the We Care PSW’s especially Gayle who was so professional and caring, you are truly an angel! Thank you to Ilena at the NE LIHN. Thank you to the Ambulance Drivers for Tom’s trips to the hospital. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at ARCH for the grace and dignity shown to Tom. Also thank you to the Greyhound fans in Section 119 who expressed concern for Tom. In accordance with Tom’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East, 705-759-2522). If so desired, memorial contributions in Tom’s memory can be made to ARCH or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
