Peacefully passed away on January 24, 2020 with his loved ones by his side, He was delivered to the gates of heaven where his mother Alfreda and father Israel welcomed him. He will be missed and cherished by his children Tina (Tim), Jeff (Tasha), Tania (Dracy), and George (Renee). The proudest Poppy to Teagan (Brandon), Hannah (Mikael), Braiden, Mackayla, Tynan, Genesis, Heidi, Lannden, Leeah, Ethan, Westan, Domminnic, Maverick, Owen, Calvin, Avaanne, Jordan, Mackenzie, Madison, Hunter. The Great Poppy to Hayden, Jayden, Nevada, Kash, Payton, Nicholas, and late Carson. He was a loving brother to Sarah (late Trevor), Brada (Harrison), Winnie (Dean), late George and late Helen. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Griff will be missed by his good friends Randy, Junior (Barb) and many more. We would like to thank Diana and Arnold Ross for the support during this difficult time, also a heartfelt thank you to the ICU staff, Doctors and 3C nursing staff of SAH. Warmest thank you to Pauline of 3C. Griff will fondly be remembered for his family, his stories, and fishing and hunting trips. At the request of Griff there will be no viewing. He will be taken home to Newfoundland at a later date to be laid to rest where he was born and raised. The children of Griff welcome friends and family to the Garden River Community Center on Saturday February 1, 2020 where we will celebrate his life from 3-8pm.
