Suddenly, but peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital, surrounded by family on Monday October 14, 2019 at the age of 67. Survived by his wife Debbie Krauter. Stepdad to Ted Perritt (Maggie), Crystal Krauter-Maki (Wayne) and Kasey Krauter. Proud Papa of Ivorie Krauter (Ethan), Ayden Krauter (Bailey), Jarret and Teagan Krauter-Maki and Mathieu Gagnon-Perritt (Missouri). Predeceased by his parents James and Agnes Hughson. Gordie was a wonderful brother to the late Elisabeth Richard (Robert), Jimmy (JoAnn) and Agnes Hughson. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life with close family and friends will be held. The family would like to thank the Sault Area Hospital Renal Dialysis Clinic and the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Clinic for the care given to Gordie.
