Lucile Hughes passed away at the Tendercare Nursing Home with her family by her side on Saturday, May 11, 2002. Beloved wife of the late Philip Hughes and Wilfred Chalut. Loving mother of Gail Barbeau-Gough (George Gough) and Avalon Stares late Bob). Cherished grandmother of Marc Barbeau (Kathy), Scott Barbeau, Leslie Conn, Lindsay Kraan (Doug), and David Stares. Great grandmother of Ellen, Nicholas and Nathan Barbeau and Whitney, Mitchell and Gabriel Kraan. Lucile will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Wednesday, May 15, from 12:30 p.m. until time of the funeral service in the chapel at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Larry Burton officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to John Wesley United Church would be appreciated.
