Passed away at home with family by his side on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Judy (Nee Mulvihill) for 55 years. Loving dad to Ed Howe (Late Anita), Karen Guzzo (Max), Debbie Bird-Thompson (Steve) and BJ Boston. Proud grandpa of Derek (Amber) and Devon Howe, Robbie and Kristy Bird-Thompson and Sarah and Amanda Guzzo. Great grandpa of MacKenzie, Madilyn, Destiny and Scarlett Howe. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Verna Howe. Dear brother to Linda Ouellette (Kevin). Brother in Law of the late Maureen Plante (late Ray). Special cousin of Valerie Charrette. Uncle of Jason, Michael, Jo and Monique. Bob will be missed and deeply remembered by many cousins and friends. Bob enjoyed his summers at Freds Trailer Park scooting around in his Red Wings golf cart and more recently his scooter. Dad loved to play cards with anyone who was willing. Biologically he had three children but became the father to many.  

At Bob's request there will be no funeral services. Memorial contributions payable by cheque or online to the SAH Foundation - Renal Care Fund.  The family would like to express their gratitude to the Sault Area Hospital for all of the great care each and everyone of you provided him.  Special thanks to the Renal Dialysis department for their care of him over the last several years.  Dr's Berry and Shafiee thank you for your support and time you spend with him. Shirley Pulkkinen thank you for always being on speed dial when he needed a shoulder. His journey was not without challenges and he utilized many specialties at SAH. Thanks to Dr.‘s Reich, Costain, Castellani and Best. He was able to be at home because of the great care provided by his home care nurse Cindy Thomas and Palliative Physician Dr. Nicki Apostle.
