Samuel Houston passed away at the Tendercare Nursing Home on Sunday, September 1, 2002 at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Houston. Dear father of late James, late Raymond (Patricia), Margaret (Trevor), Wilson (Sykes), (late Robert Sykes), Clifford (Joan) and Stanley (Donna). Grandfather of 12, great grandfather of 16 and great great grandfather of 8. Brother of the late William (late Sarah) and Robert (Donna). Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road, 945-7758) on Thursday, September 5 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the funeral service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Tendercare Nursing Home Resident's Council Fund would be appreciated by the family.
