(January 26, 1941 - January 29, 2019) - Passed away peacefully at A.R.C.H in Sault Ste. Marie after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Cherished wife for 61 years of Barry Horton. Forever loved mother of Debbie Horton, and Brian Horton (Lori). Beloved grandma of Mikey, Chadd, Melissa, Christa and Jesse. Great grandma of Breanne, Jarrett, Ella and Emily. Will be missed by many friends and family. Predeceased by her parents Victor and Juliette Audet and by her in laws Clifford and Jessie Horton.
Rita very much enjoyed her retirement and time spent with her husband in their golden years.
The family wants to thank Dr. Booth, A.R.C.H., Sault Area Hospital and all their staff for making Mom’s last days comfortable.
