We are saddened to announce the death of Terry who passed away at home on Monday, July 6, 2020 in his 92nd year with his loving and caring wife Glenys (Mills, Hicks, Devoe) by his side.  

He was born in Pune, India on December 6, 1928 to the late Eric and Charlotte Hoad-Reddick and raised in England.  He is survived by brother Michael and sister Colleen Sloan and their families, both of England.  Terry was a veteran of the British Navy and immigrated to Canada in 1952.  Not long after in 1954 he married the late Germaine Pigeon and helped raise all 8 of her children Reg, late Donald (late Peggy), Edward (Brenda), late Carol-Anne Thomas (late Charlie), Jack (Fern), Richard (Heather), late Elaine Cuncic (late Dave) and Harold (Shirley), as if they were his own.  There are also 17 grandchildren, great and great-greats.  He will also be fondly remembered by Glenys' children Eric Hicks (Debbie Warnock), Téri Esson (Rob), Bryce Hicks and their families.  

In his early years he enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting, and later took up playing Bingo.  He had quite the ear for music and could play the organ, banjo, accordion and harmonica.  Terry retired from Abitibi Paper Mill in 1990.
