With heartbreak we announce the passing of our gentle giant father at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, November 21, 2022 at the age of 72.
Son of the late Lloyd and Pat Hicks. Loving father of Sarah Gartshore (Dan) and Jessica Charrette (Nathan Neveau). Proud Papa of Dean, Gray, Isaac "Bubba", Addison and Olivia. Beloved soulmate to Penny. Step father of Adam and Jeff. George will be sadly missed by his step son J.D. (Lindsay) and late step daughter Jamie. Brother of Mike (Norma) and Mary (Lewis).
If you knew our dad you know that he had a great love of music, he enjoyed socializing with friends and family with a fine four finger rye and pepsi! He loved to keep his mind and hands busy with his many hobbies and tinkering projects.
A Celebration of dad's Life will take place on Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 1 to 4 pm at The Refinery at 624 Wellington Street W. Memorial contributions (payable by online or by cheque) to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
