Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Jean Hern. Devoted father of Isabel Chapman (Ron), Keith (Marie), Phyllis McLeod (John), Jenat McClelland (Clint), Glen (Laurey), Beth Orr (Kevin) and Ken (Lisa). Loving Grampa to his 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Special friend of Alice Bolton. Brother of Gordon Hern (Marjorie), Allen Hern (Sheila) and his late infant sister Kathyrn. Brother-in-law of the late Earl Boville (late Aldene), late Ilene Smith (late Bill), late Jack Boville (Dorothy) and the late Morrison. Uncle of many nieces and nephews.
