HERMISTON, Ada (Sharpe)

Heaven just received another beautiful angel with a heart filled with love, laughter, not to mention a few harmless practical jokes.  We sadly regret that our beautiful mother has hung up her golden scissors for the last time after more than 60 years of doing what she loved.  Sadly, Ada passed peacefully at the age of 84 years’ young on Sunday, December 4, 2016 with her children by her side, Derek and Kathy Hermiston, Brent and Lucy Hermiston, Brad and Debbie Hermiston and Laura and Frank Mannarino.  She will be missed terribly by her grandchildren Jason Richards, Kenny and Daniel Hermiston, Sven and Sarah Hermiston, Dalton and Colton Hermiston, Aimee, Sierra and Josh Mannarino and her three great-grandchildren, Hunter Ferland, Rhonda and Zachary Hermiston, who all thought of her as grandma dynamite as she was a true inspiration for her energy and zest of life.  Predeceased by her parents Susan and George Sharpe.  Survived loving sister of Florence McLean (late Vern), Emily Elliott (late Ron), Eunice Bourgond (late Al), Milton and Dorothy Sharpe and predeceased by Grace and Charles McBride, Dorothy and Charles Reddick, Georgina and Bill McQueen, Viola and Enzo Rossi, Norman and Pat Sharpe and many numerous nieces and nephews who she adored.  Ada’s life was blessed with an abundance of wonderful life long, loving friends with whom she treasured, laughed with and loved.  At Ada’s request a private family service was held.  A celebration of her life, at her favourite place the cottage, will follow later.  Memorial donations to ARCH would be appreciated by the family.
