Surrounded by the love of his family and enjoying the last Prost of Cognac, Horst peacefully passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at age of 87. Loving husband and best friend of Brunhilde for 59 years. Devoted father of Iris (Ron McLean), Bruce (Charlene) and Ken (Jen). Proud Opa of Ashleigh (Rob), Morgan (Trevor), Chantel (Joel), Nathaniel (Brenna), Brandon (Emily), Shannon (Jordan), Rachel (Scott), Devon (Hailey), Willow and Odin. Uhr Opa of Genesis, Logan, Connor, Laif and Everett. At Horst’s request, there will be no services held. Thank you to the staff on 3A and the Cancer Clinic at the Sault Area Hospital, as well as Dr. Bowen, Dr. Buehner and Dr. Reich.
