HAMMOND, Florence Ethel

Passed away peacefully at the FJ Davey Home on Friday, November 16, 2012 in her 93rd year. Florence is now reunited with her loving husband, Victor. Dear mother of Gary Hammond (Bonnie) and Clyde Hammond (Elsie). Beloved grandmother of Suzannah Hammond (friend David), Rachel Stocco (Dan), Christopher Hammond, Michael Hammond and Stephanie Hammond. Sister of Jim Roberts (Jean and the late Betty) and predeceased by her brothers; George Roberts (late Mary), Harry Roberts and Ron Roberts (Stella). Sister-in-law of the late John, late Merlin and late Melvin Hammond. Adored aunt of several nieces and nephews. Florence was a Sunshine Travel Club hostess for 25 years and had deep appreciation of music at the Davey Home, especially on Friday with the group called “Friends”. Florence was also a longtime member of St. John’s Anglican Church. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 11:30 – 12:30. Funeral service to follow in the chapel at 1 pm. Rev. Canon Earl Burke officiating. Memorial contributions to ARCH, the Arthritis Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
