March 13, 1940 - October 23, 2021. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, Harold at the age of 81 surrounded by his children.
Predeceased by his partner, Levina Wynne and his sons Billy and Sam. Proud father of, Nancy, Keith (Patricia), Heather (Brent), Wanda (Gary), Jody (Hugh) and Susan (Charlie). Grampa Harold to, Ryan, Corey, Jessica, Isiah, Nash, Katey, Jamie, Amy, Steven, Stephanie, Nathan, Thomas, Samantha and their partners. Great-Grampa to 16. Brother to Mary-Lou (late John) and Ken (Mary). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Harold will also be missed by his many extended family and friends (Cooper Lake).
With Harold everything was always an adventure. As the "mayor" of Cooper Lake, he lived life on his own terms, to the fullest. When "Harry" was around there was always a good laugh, and good times. His stories will be in our hearts and our memories forever.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Moose Lodge on Tuesday, October, 26, 2021 for a celebration of life from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Thank you to the doctors and nurses of the Sault Area Hospital 3rd floor for taking wonderful care of Harold.
