passed away peacefully with his family at his side at the Plummer Memorial Hospital on Saturday, September 6, 2003 at the age of 82. Loving husband of 60 years to Angelina. Dear father of Antoinette Provenzano (Tony), Marisa Beltrano and Mike Gualtieri (Melanie) all of Sault Ste. Marie. Proud Nono Pete of Rosangela Panzarino (Mike), Anthony Provenzano all of Toronto, John Beltrano Jr. (Valerie) of Edmonton, Kevin Beltrano (Karen) of Windsor, Traccy Beltrano of New York City, Peter, Michael and Adam Gualtieri all of Sault Ste. Marie. Great grandfather of Michael and Anthony Panzarino of Toronto. Loving brother of Madre (Sr.) Caterina Gualtieri of Italy. Predeceased by his parents Michele and Antonietta (Manza) Gualtieri. Brother-in-law of Adelina LePera. Predeceased by 2 brothers-in-law and six sisters-in-law. Special uncle of many nieces and nephews from out of town and Ugo LePera (Rita) and Rita Chilclli (Tony) from Sault Ste. Marie. Will be fondly remembered by John Beltrano Sr. Leaving his hometown of Figline Vegliaturo, Coscnza, Italy, Peter came to Canada in 1947 and worked the mines in Timmins and Sudbury. He eventually settled in Sault Ste. Marie where he worked at Mannesman Tube. In 1958 his wife and two daughters from Italy joined him. His son was born in 1960. He was proud to call Northern Ontario his home where he enjoyed its abundant nature and beauty. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, September 9, 2003 from 7-9 pm. Funeral mass from St. Joseph the Worker (135 Arden St.) on Wednesday, September 10, 2003 at 2 pm. Rev. Ron Ambeault officiating. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum. Memorial contributions to the Red Cross or S.A.H. Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated. A special thank you to Dr. Quon and all the nurses who cared for him in his final days.
