Randy David Grant passed away peacefully with family by his side on January 31, 2019. Beloved husband of Donna Grant (Hnatuik), proud father of Maxine and Duncan. Loving son of Lucy Grant and brother of Judy Black (Jerry). Loving son-in-law of Leona Hnatuik and Gordon Hnatuik. Predeceased by his fatherSheldon Grant.
Randy grew up in Sault Ste. Marie and was a member of the Navy League’s Newman Corps, and the Sault Twirlette Drum Corps. He shared his drumming skills in many bands during the 70s and 80s. Randy specialized in Reliability Maintenance and worked for Cross Construction, Niagara Fluid Power, AG Simpson, Molsons, IKO and Cameco.
His humor, wit, insight, smile and gentle laugh will always be a part of us. We will miss him deeply, our son, husband, father, uncle, and friend.
Cremation has taken place. A private gathering to celebrate Randy’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to your local food bank.
