Age 67, lifelong resident of Sault Ste. Marie passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. Son of Mary Lou and the Late Tony Gover, survived by his sister, Ramona Baxter (Stephen) and niece Courtney Baxter (Greg).
Walter wanted to convey his thanks to Aunt Velma Yurechuk, Lynn and Stephanie Pasquale and family, Mary Ann and Ken Christensen, John and Pam Innocente, good friends Dave and Denise MacGillivray, Gary and Dawn Rainbird and Brian and Julie Puroll for their support.
Walter had a 30 year teaching career with the ADSB where he coached and convened many of the interschool sports. In addition, along with Cliff Summers, coached the highly successful Sir James Dunn Girls Volleyball Team. He would like to thank the teachers, students, athletes and parents that allowed him the privilege of working with them. Hopefully he was a positive influence and set a good example for them.
