It is with profound sadness that the family of Alex Gingras announce his peaceful passing at the Sault Area Hospital on November 17, 2022, at the age of 68.

He is reconnected with his late wife Donna Gingras. He will always be remembered by his sons D.J and Joey Gingras, as well as his grandchildren Joel, Amy (Dakota), David, Taylor, Kaysha (Will), Jocelyn, Landan, Kira, Binogii, Lizette and Gage and his great grandkids Jayden, Jayda, Adalyne, Logan and Athena.

Son of the late William Gingras and late Lizette Gingras Collins (Romeo). Brother of the late Bill (Carroll), Marilyn (Jim), James, Darlene (late Elphege), late Daniel, late Bruce, late Gary (Kelly), Warren (Crystal) and Michelle (Simon). Alex will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.

Some thought of him as a class clown character, always joking around. Others knew him as a wise grandfather who gave great advice and loved fishing and hunting. A dad known as many people rolled into one. He was incredibly intelligent and wildly goofy. After he was hospitalized, dad kept his love for life, even during his last days.

Family and friends are invited to O’Sullivan Funeral Home on Wednesday November 23, 2022, from 11:00am until 1:00pm.
