Peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the age of 97 years.  Beloved wife of the late Donald Gilroy.  Loving mother of William and his wife Linda.  Proud grandmother of six and great-grandmother of ten.  Predeceased by her parents William and Winifred Archibald.  Dear sister of Bill Archibald (Doreen), Allan Archibald (Audrey), late Lynn Archibald (Lois), late Hayden Archibald, late Robert Archibald (Violet), late Kathleen Laughtenslager and late Nial; sister-in-law of Margaret McKay, Lorraine Pinkney and Chris Gilroy.  Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.  At Jean’s request, there will be no visitation and a Graveside Service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.  Memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758)  www.northwoodfuneral.com
