Passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Monday, July 26, 2004 in his 73rd year. Loving husband of Judy. Beloved father of John (Ann) and David. Caring stepfather to Corrina and Stephen (Monique). Cherished grandfather of Michael, Joseph and MacKenzie. Predeceased by his father George A. Gill and mother Laurel Gill (nee Day). George will be fondly remembered by a large circle of family and friends. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Friday, July 30, 2004 from 12 pm until time of service in the chapel at 1 pm. Major Paul Wood officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the SAH Cancer Clinic or to the local chapter of ALS Society would be appreciated by the family.
