Gloria Gilchrist passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Sault Area Hospital, on Wednesday June 16, 2021, at the age of 77. Born in Toronto, Ontario on November 29, 1943, to the late Norman and Nellie Baker. Gloria is survived by her beloved husband of almost 59 years, Brad and her three girls, Debbie Wood (Denis), Becky Fleming, and Heather Grzelak (Joel). Devoted grandma to Matthew Wood (Denise), Sarah Robinson (Jared), Jonathan Wood (Jael), Tyler Grzelak (Erin), Tanner Grzelak, Kaylie Gass (Connor) and Jacob Fleming (Brittany). Great grandma to Hayden and Lilyah Wood. Dear sister of Elizabeth Balfour (late Raymond), dear daughter-in-law of the late Thomas “Scotty” and Marie Gilchrist. Sister-in-law of the late Cliffe Gilchrist (Irene), Richard Gilchrist (late Ruth), Ray Gilchrist (Cindy), and Kim Raymond (Guy). Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions a memorial service will take place via zoom on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Ray Gilchrist officiating.
