We are saddened to announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Roger at the age of 76. Best friend and beloved soul mate of Lorraine for 54 years. Proud and loving father of Henry (Peggy), Nicole (Peter), and Richard “Buck” (Kelly). Fun loving and attentive grandpa of Anaka (Ron), Jasmine (Jordon), Maiya (Jeff), Zoe, Brandon (Alyssa), Evan (Casie), and Carlie (George) and adoring great grandpa of Grace, Olivia, and Jackson. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, neighbours, and colleagues.
Roger was a true gentleman, humble with a quiet generosity. He was committed to the community he loved and held a strong purpose to improve the lives of others. His selflessness often extended beyond his family.
The family wants to thank the staff at the Cancer Centre in Sault Ste. Marie and the NSHN-Blind River for the care and kindness he received.

Nous sommes attristés de vous annonce le décès soudain et inattendu de Roger à l’âge de 76 ans. Meilleur ami et partenaire bien-aimé de Lorraine depuis 54 ans. Père fier et aimant de Henry (Peggy), Nicole (Peter) et Richard « Buck » (Kelly). Grand-père aimant et attentionné d’Anaka (Ron), Jasmine (Jordon), Maiya (Jeff), Zoe, Brandon (Alyssa), Evan (Casie) et Carlie (George) ainsi qu’arrière-grand-père adorant de Grace, Olivia et Jackson. Il manquera beaucoup à sa famille, à ses amis, à ses voisins et à ses collègues.
Roger était un vrai gentleman humble et tranquille. Il était engagé dans sa communauté et était toujours prêt à aider ceux qui en avaient besoin. Son altruisme s’étendait souvent au-delà de sa famille.
La famille tient à remercier le personnel du Centre de Cancer à Sault Ste. Marie ainsi que le personnel de NSHN-Blind River pour leurs soins et leur gentillesse.
