Peacefully at Maple View Extendicare on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Felix. Loving friend of Ed Butler. Predeceased by her parents Szczepn and Catherine Kowalczyk and her sister Wanda Kowalczyk and Henry Kowalczyk (Helen). Dear friend of Halina Oliveira and Linda Caputo. Halina was a member of the Polish Canadian Association, The Canadian Boxer Club and also the Canadian Kennel Club. Special thanks to her many friends and supporters in the Sault. A very special thanks goes out to Ted (Tadeusz) Kowalczyk, her cherished nephew. Ted was especially appreciated by his dear “ciotka”, Halina, for the hard work he did in keeping her beloved garden beautiful. Halina would also like to thank the excellent staff and workers at Maple View Extendicare (Goulais Bay) for their constant care and comfort. Her thanks would also go to the excellent physio staff for their kind and patient work with her on the leg-bike. Halina was a wise and wonderful woman who loved people and animals, expecially her beloved Boxers – with all her heart.
