Peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.
Predeceased by her parents Anna and Valenty Gawant, her sister Stella Slobodecki and her brother John Gawant. She will be missed and remembered by her nieces and nephews Louise Bernardi, John Slobodecki, Gerald Slobodecki, Eddie Slobodecki, late Walter Slobodecki, late Frances Slobodecki, late Irene Horsfall, Fred Gawant, Elsie Barrett, Janice Filice, the late Audrey Hayes and their families.
A mass will be held at St. Veronica's Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 11 am. Rev. Ron Ambeault officiating. Please call Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel at 705-759-2522 between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm in order to attend. Please note that all Covid-19 restrictions apply, masks and social distancing are required. Capacity is limited. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
