We regret to announce the death of Marielle Gauthier on September 12, 2019 at Extendicare Kapuskasing at the age of 83 years. She will be greatly missed by her children: Rachel Pelletier of Blind River, Francine Close (Frazer) of British Columbia, Lorraine Simard (Paul Belisle) of Moonbeam, and Sharon Taylor of Sault Ste. Marie; one daughter-in-law, Maura; one brother: Laurent Gauthier (Lucie) of Rouyn-Noranda; two sisters: Louise Gendron (Jacques Lapierre) and Nicole Gauthier (Jacques Sauvé) all of Montréal; as well as nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her partner, Joe Weirz; and one son, Tom Taylor. A graveside service will be held at the Sault Ste. Marie Cemetery at a later date.
