This past November 14, 2019 marked your 70th Birthday and shortly after on November 22, 2019 your 50th Wedding Anniversary. From this day forward Saturday March 21, 2020, at ARCH holding your husband’s hand, we celebrate you, your life, your legacy and mostly that you are at peace at last. Beloved wife for 50 years of Derek. Precious Mother to Lori McNama (Kevin), Catherine Bourgault (Pat), and Derek Garniss (Samantha). Proud Grandmother to Steven, Brandon (Tamara), Kyle (Jess), Eric (Kaite), Ellie (Nathan), Alex, Patricia, Jacob and Alexander. Great Grandmother to Kolton, Decan, Aiden, Sophia, and Sianna. Daughter of the late Ann and Zolton Kovacs. Sister of Mark (Jody), late Stephanie Bestall (Pat), Stanley, Leon, Zolton Jr (Diana), and Susan Weigel (late Andrew). Daughter in law of the late Vi (Archie McCarrel). Sister in law of Rene Rogers (Don), and the late Bob and Marg Garniss. She will be sadly missed by her precious fur baby Peanut. Also leaving behind many Nieces, Nephews, relatives and friends both here and in Europe. Gabe had a special place in her heart for Foster Son David Derbyshire (Kelly) and her Red Rock relatives Sandra and Phil Caruso. For the last 8 years she lived with Multiple Systems Atrophy which she challenged and persevered through until the end. This journey showed us her determination and the true fighter she was throughout her life as she brought smiles to many who came to support her.
