Surrounded by family, peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday February 21, 2020 at the age of 72 years. Beloved son of the late Evelyn Taraschuk and late William Cardiff. Loving partner of Nancy. Loving father of Cheryl (Randy), Sean, Jason and Stacey (Doug) and a loving grandpa. Predeceased by his brother’s Brian and William Gardiner, Jimmy and Michael Taraschuk and sister, Linda Bloye. Brother of Steve Taraschuk (Pauline), Mary Ann Briglio, Gail Taraschuk and Stephanie Morin (Darryl). He will be missed by many nieces and nephews and especially his fur baby, Bailey who will be lost without his best friend. Michael was a professional painter in his younger years and took great pride in his job. Upon retirement he was a social butterfly and enjoyed his walks in the mall or morning coffee at “Timmies”. He had a love for music, especially Elvis Presley, who some say he had a keen resemblance to in his younger years. You could always find him enjoying the live entertainment at Rotaryfest every summer. It just won’t be the same without him. At Michael’s request, there will be no service.
