GAGNON, Virginia 'Ginny'

Peacefully passed away at Mapleview Extendicare on Wednesday April 3, 2019 at the age of 85, two weeks before her 86th birthday. Ginny went to be reunited with her loving husband and best friend, Joe. Loving mother of Don (Helen). Cherished grandmother of Nicole (Joe Luxton) and Michael. Great grandmother of Christian, Cole and Alexi Luxton, Predeceased by her parents Pompeo and Elizabeth Offidani. Dearest sister of Gerry Deplonty (Amelia), Linda Boucher (Rick) and the late Betty Foucault (late Leo). Loving aunt of Dale Lapham (Mia), their children, Patrick & Allegra, Dean Lapham (Suzanne) and Dean Jr. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ginny will be missed by her closest friends. The family would like to thank all the staff at Mapleview Extendicare McCaroll Lake for their care and compassion. Family and friends may visit at the O’Sullivan Funeral Home (corner of Cathcart and St. James St) on Saturday April 6, 2019 from 11 – 1 p.m. Memorial Service will follow in the O’Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Sault Area Hospital Renal Clinic.
