FRASER Wesley

Passed away peacefully at ARCH on June 22, 2022, at the age of 76, after a long battle with cancer. Survived by his wife Bonnie (nee Parr) of 39 years. Loving father of Shawn (Joanne), Jeffrey (Lynn) and Christopher Stocco (Christie). Cherished grandfather of Andie Shortt, Juilianna Stocco and Jenna Stocco. Predeceased by his parents Francis and Faye Fraser. Dear brother of Larry, Kenneth (Bonnie), Darryl (Laura), Marti and brother-in-law to Jan Boyer (Mike), John Parr, Sam Bouchard (Jennifer).

Born in Nova Scotia on May 10th, 1946 and raised in P.E.I, Wes moved to Montreal, Quebec at the age 17 to become a Psychiatric Nurses Assistant at the Douglas Hospital. Because of his love for the outdoors, Wes found himself moving to Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, starting his new career at Algoma Steel as a Locomotive Engineer. Wes enjoyed spending his free time hunting and fishing with Bonnie, his sons and many good friends. He loved travelling in the Western part of the United States with their ever-changing scenery. He saw the beauty in flowers, whether wild or not and he sure loved his sea food, visiting the east coast often.

A sincere thank you to Dr. Spadafora, his special nurse Louise, Dr. Booth as well as the staff at ARCH and all other caregivers for your care and compassion.

Cremation has taken place. As per Wesley's request, no formal services will be held. In his memory, donations made to ARCH would be appreciated by the family.
