It is with overwhelming sadness that the family announces the passing of Glen Forrest on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at the age of 72. Loving husband of Cindy. He leaves behind his children Dawn, Sheri (Pete), Ken (Wendy), Jennifer (Derek), James and Jessica (CJ). Cherished Poppa to Jessie (Kevin), Kyle and Hayden. Dear brother to Marlene (Don) and uncle to Don (Melanie) and Laurie (Todd). He was the son in law of Fred and Julia Hazell. Glen was predeceased by his first wife Dianne. He will be sadly missed by numerous extended family and friends. As a retired member of the Ontario Provincial Police, Glen served 30 years in his beloved home of Blind River.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Glen’s life on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Royal Canadian Legion in Blind River. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Children’s Make a Wish Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Menard Funeral Home.
