Velma Fitzpatrick passed away at the F.J.Davey Home on Sunday, May 26, 2002 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of Brian Fitzpatrick and dear mother of Brian (Christine) and Stephen (Kathleen) Ftizpatrick of B.C. and Justine Howes (Mike) of Sault Ste. Marie. Cherished grandmother of Vincent, Sam, Arlen, Andrea, Michael and David Fitzpatrick, Christine and Kalin Payne, Mrs. Fitzpatrick was predeceased by her brothers Fred, Clifford, Sam and Edgar Porter and her sister, Grace Walker. She was a Past-president of the Sooette Welfare Club and Precious Blood Catholic Woman's League. Friends may call at the chapel at the F.J.Davey Home on Wednesday, May 29 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the funeral and committal service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. James Rent officiating. Cremation will be followed by interment in the family plot at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to the F.J.Davey Home would be appreciated.
