(February 22, 1948-July 26, 2016) - Gloria passed away peacefully at ARCH with family and friends by her side. Her battle with cancer was a true testament of her character showing her tenacity, generosity and positive spirit. She was well known for her community involvement, supporting local charities and organizations. Gloria’s kind gestures and acts of giving were well thought out, unsolicited and often anonymous. The lives she has affected are innumerable and the positive effect on the community, immeasurable.
She was the daughter of The Late John and Helen (nee McDonald) Fischer. Survived by her siblings Stan (Annette) Fischer, Carol (Ken) Webb, and John Fischer (Kathy). Will be missed by her nieces and nephews Michael (Mary) Fischer, Gayle (Lyndon) Garside, Katie (The Late Kevin) Wessell, Fr. Ken Webb and Susan (Mike) Hayes. Remembered fondly by great nieces and nephews Benn, Lowen and Emily Garside, Jeanette and Natalie Wessell, and Hailey and Mitchell Hayes.
