Peacefully at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Johann for 35 years. Loving mother of Carol Doan and Donna Toll. Cherished grandmother of Cindy Naderer (John), Rob Doan (Deborah), Cheryl Sidor, Jason Doan (Kate), Tricia Turcotte (Jason) and Jodi-Lynn Gibb (Mike). Great grandmother and great great grandmother of many. Dear sister of Chuck Peer (Mary), Harold Peer (Joyce), Howard Peer (Thelma) and Dorothy Bianchi (late Tony). Sister-in-law of Siegfried Fischer (Anna) and Olga Christenson (Gene). Edith will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to Elim Pentecostal Tabernacle (306 McNabb St) on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 for a memorial service at 11 am. Pastor Benny Kjiersdam officiating.
