FILIPCIC, Viola Helen - Passed away peacefully at the Mauno Kaihla Koti on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at the age of 83. Loving wife of the late Milo Filipcic. Proud mother of Linda Petrides (David), Sherry Breckenridge (Frank) and Lorna Neveu (Ray). Cherished grandmother of Michelle Petrides (Dan), Christine Petrides (Nils), Carly Breckenridge (Ryan), Amanda Vossos (Jay), Matthew Neveu (Ramona), Dana Delayer (Derek) and James Delayer (Melissa). Adoring Muu Muu of Ava, Audrey, Cameron and Darcy. Viola was a highly regarded founding member of the Ontario Finnish Resthome Association. She will be remembered for her fundraising, hosting events and bringing peace and level headedness to meetings. This was close to her heart. Viola loved to be surrounded by family. She was happy to have everyone gather together over a hot meal, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending her summer at her cottage with the "Haviland Gang". She was a special friend and neighbour to Shirley and Dave Bertelsen.
