(August 1, 1944 - November 27, 2021) - It is with deep sorrow that we (Michael and Christina) announce the passing of our dear father, Dave.

He was very proud of the adults that we have become, just as his mother and father (Marjorie and Herb) were proud of the way they raised him and his brother (John). His nieces (Judith and Lisa) will miss his stories from Wales, and we will make sure that those stories are shared with his granddaughter (Kyle Airi).

Our Mom (Gail) and his best friend Tucker will miss his daily visits and companionship.

Our Dad cherished the time spent with his very close friends on both sides of the border.

Anyone that knew Dave realized that you can take a young boy out of Wales but you can never take the love of a home country out of a grown man. He would often show us pictures of the beautiful Welsh countryside and speak fondly about the wonderful times he had with his cousins Rob and Phil and their families.

As his cousin Phil said, in Felton spirit - he called a spade a spade but underneath he was a real softy with a heart of gold.

In his honour, raise a glass and cheer on the Detroit Tigers and Wrexham FC.

In Dave's memory, we ask that you help out an animal rescue organization in any way you can.

We love you Dad and you will be forever missed,
Michael and Christina

As per David's request, there will be no services at this time, the family will arrange a celebration of life at a later date. Friends and family are welcome to visit www.athurfuneralhome.com to leave a message of condolence as a keepsake for the family. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street E., 705-759-2522).
