Dedicated and loving mom of Debbie Dodds (Trent), Robert Fecteau (Patty) and the late Jean Paul Fecteau. Adored grandma of Christopher Dodds (Alyssa), Matthew Dodds, Laura Westerbaan (Daniel), Michael Dodds (Gosia), the late Daniel Dodds, David Dodds, Brandon Fecteau, Wesley Fecteau and her special little girl Adrianna Fecteau. Grandma ‘FeeFee’ to Lilah, Makinly, her special little chum Ivory, Talen, Ellie, Elijah, Calvin, Isaac, and Brody. Daughter of the late Jeanette and Donald Mitchell. Sister of Jimmy (Eileen), the late Robert (Pat), Gloria (Mike), Margaret (Gordon), Mary, Leila (Harry), and special brother and buddy Terry (Donna). Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Shirley was a strong lady. She persevered through many health trials, but she always pulled through and amazed people. She was a fun loving and giving person to all who knew her. Whenever you went to Shirley’s home, you never left emptyhanded. Family was the most important thing to Shirley. She always gave herself and was limitless to them. She was a dedicated mom, loved grandma and special great grandma ‘FeeFee’. She had a special relationship with each of her grandchildren which was unique to all of them. She would watch NASCAR with Wesley on Sundays, have special dinners brought to her by Laura, and loved going shopping with her shopping buddy Daniel. She had so much love for them all.

The family would like to thank the Sault Area Hospital ICU nurses for going above and beyond. Respecting Shirley’s wishes, there will be no services and cremation will take place. Memorial donations may be made to the Sault Area Hospital Critical Care Fund (payable online or by cheque). Visit www.osullivanfuneralhome.com to leave condolences for the family. Arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St, 705-759-8456.
