Surrounded by love Gwen peacefully joined her husband Norm on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 in her 82nd year. Loving mother of Rick (Pat), Leslie, Jamie (Terri), Lori (Richard) and the late Nancy Gail. Always remembered as an extra special Gramma to Nicole (Marty), Kristy, Lynne (Anthony), Trevor (Shawna), Rance (Sara), JR, Hailey (Quinton), Chad, Ryan (Brittany), Dusty, Jesse, Samantha, AJ (Kayla), Ashley (Nathan) and Chase. Cherished Great Gramma to 9+1 on the way. Gwen had a smile on her face everyday. Survived by her little brother Dwayne (Maxine) and special sister Joan and two sweet sister-in-laws Doreen Hoy, Elva Fantham and many more to be remembered. She has touched many people through her life and continued to carry a strong bond until the end. To her best friend Marg Bovingdon you have been more than a friend, a mentor and a guide, someone in whom I could confide. I have always followed the path that you have shown. Gwen has always been a devoted aunt of many nieces and nephews. To the ACW ladies – until we meet again. A private service for family and friends has been arranged due to the current COVID19 virus. Rev. Earl Burke to officiate her service as requested by Gwen herself. Interment West Korah Cemetery. A large celebration of her life will be held on her 83rd birthday, July 26th 2020.
