EVANS, Janice (nee Breckenridge)

March 24, 1939 - March 17, 2019 - On Sunday, March 17, 2019 an extremely strong , caring, and unselfish woman said until we meet again, to her loving family.  Janice was the loving wife to the late Wayne Evans.  Mother to  Wayne Jr. (Sharon), Zilla Ferguson (late Jack), Robert, Gord (Beverly), Judy Leffler (Steven).  Very loving Grandmother to  Kayla Diemert (John), Kelly Wardell(Andrew), Nathan Evans (Justyne), Timmy Kalinich, Jacob Ferguson, Taylor Evans (Hanah), Emily (Jameico), Hunter Leffler, Heidi Kalinich, Aimie McLeish Nadeau (Josh), Ryan McLeish, Jesse Evans. Great Grandma to Kaydence Wardell, Camden Wardell, and Jemma McPherson. Janice was the seventh child of fifteen children born to John Allen Lee Breckenridge and Anne (Weeks) Breckenridge.  Loving Sister to the (late) Catherine, (late) Jackie, (late) William, (late) Patricia, (late) Calvin, (late) Lelynne, Richard, (late) Ronald, (late) Ivan, Sandra, Lorne, Blair, (late) LeeAnn, and (late) Heather. And a loving sister-in-law to the (late) Basil Evans, (late) Gordon Evans, (late) Betty Evans, Lois, Nolene, Church Evans. Janice never asked for anything for herself, just the love from her family and friends.  Her best friends through out life were Marg Plaskett, and sisters-in-law, Marlene Evans and Joan Breckenridge whom held a very special spot in moms life. The strength of a 2 times cancer survivor Janice was.  Although she fought a hard battle this third time, she always remained to smile and worry about others.  A celebration of her life will take place on Sunday, March 24, 2019, at the Moose Lodge from 12 pm  to 4 pm.  Moms last request was to have her name on a plaque at the Sault Area Hospital beside her husbands.  The family is asking if any one would like to donate to the cause, please do so by making donation to her children.  When all money is collected her children will top them up to place the lump sum down on the plaque to for fill her wish. The family would like to thank the awesome care at the Cancer Clinic, nurses Lisa, Lawson,and John to mention a few.  A very special thank you to Paula, Dr. Booth, home care nurse Lyvia and Sierra.  All our respect and thanks to Dr. Rassouli.  You were our mothers living angel.  A promise made was a promise kept.  Lastly, all the nurses at A.R.C.H.  A special thank you to moms ARCH Snow Angel. (You know who you Are)!  THANK YOU FROM ALL OF HER CHILDREN!  Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522).
