Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, December 3, 2018 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Carol Anne Evans (nee Mason) for 59 years. Loving father of Valerie Anne Evans (Peter MacPhail), David Wayne Evans (Jill), the late Linda Joyce Ferguson (Ewan) and William Allan Evans (Kerri). Proud grandfather of Allen Evans (Crystal), Mandy Giesbrecht (Murray), Steven Drigan (Jamie), Melissa Tregunno (Ryan), Alex Ferguson and Tyler Evans.; Great-Grandfather of Ciarra, Gwynn, Paetyn, Sidney, Isabella, Rhys, Logan, Ethan, Bane, Alice, Mila, Ella and Owen. Dear son of the late Elsie (nee Hill) and Ernie Evans; brother of the late Norman, Lloyd (Joanne), Joanne (the late Lee Dinsmore), Ronald (Barb), Gerald (Lillian), Larry (Judy), Dale (Wendy), Brian (Debbie), Carol (Tom Horne), Merle (Linda), Kathy (the late Jim Haynes) and Terry (Karen). Following Wayne's wishes, there will be no service at this time, cremation has taken place. The family will be holding a celebration of life in late May 2019. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to ARCH would be appreciated by the family.
