ERB, Wilton (Duke) (Bill)

Passed away unexpectedly at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, February 11, 2013 at the age of 68. He will be greatly missed by his wife Cheryl and his daughter Jeannette Aikens (Richard). He was the loving Papa of Joel, Nicole and the late Craig. Survived by his sisters Margaret Chevrier and Viola Brandow (Allan) and his sister-in-law Mona Erb. Predeceased by his parents Bert and Lottie Erb and Clarence and Georgina Erb and his siblings Walter (twin), Doreen, John, Gordon, Arleigh Devoe (late Bill), Robert Carlson (late Betty), Jack, Flossie Hawdon (late Charles) and Thelma. Special “brother” of Jackie Weiss, Bert and Jim Erb. Son-in-law of Jeanne and the late Omer Lalonde. Brother-in-law of Gary, Brian (Lucy) and Paul Lalonde (Jean). Duke fought hard these last four years and we have so many people to thank for their care, support and compassion especially Northern Michigan Regional Hospital, Sault Area Hospital (Continuing Complex Care and 1B), Ric Thomson, Peter Feifel and their team and the wonderful staff of the FJ Davey Home (Cedar Grove 2). An extra special thanks to his “girls” Krys St. Jules and Melissa Kowalyk. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Duke’s life at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, February 15, 2013 from 6-9 pm.
