May 9, 1953 to June 9, 2021 - The family announces the peaceful passing of Lynne Eleanor Edwards at Sault Area Hospital in Sault Ste. Marie on Wednesday, June 9, 2021.
Lynne was beloved and cherished by her mother, father, brothers, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family. Family meant so much to Lynne. Special friend to Janice. Lynne is the daughter of Don (Nancy) Edwards and Eleanor (late Denis) Bonefant. Sister of Stephen (Heather) Edwards and Phillip Edwards, Mother of Cheryl Edwards (Nick Whalen), Tim Smith (Julie Premo), Grandmother to Nathan (Lexi), Ellie (Cory), Stephen (Chloe), Morgan, Evan, and Conner. Great Grandmother to Zaria, Kayden and Sebastian.
Lynne was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie and often shared that being a mom was her greatest joy in life. She was a wonderful mother who loved the simple things in life. As time passed family remained important to Lynne. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lynne was a talented musician and pianist. She loved Burton Cummings, the Beatles and Paul McCartney. Lynne had a passion for writing and loved journaling about spirituality. Lynne was kind with a great laugh and sense of humour.
Forever loved and missed; we know you will always surround us with your love. Until we meet again beautiful soul.
We want to thank the Nurses, PSW's and all who touched her life at The Sault Area Hospital for their exceptional care.
