EDWARDS, Chester

With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Chester Bryce Edwards, age 91 on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Extendicare Maple View. Beloved husband of Daphne for 71 years. Father of Tim (Barbara), Jim (Janie), late Richard (Stephen). Much loved Grandpa of Kerry Esposti (Tim), Melodie Bernardo (Tony), Tim (Sandra), Jim (Chantal) and Stephen.  Cherished Great Grandpa of Roger Lebel (Sarah), Brandon Lebel, Alex Esposti, Sophie and Adam Bernardo, William, Ethan, Lucas and Achline, Noah and Carter, Caeden and Kyler.  Great, Great Grandpa to Cole and Cain.  He will be sorely missed by his loving and caring sisters and brothers:  Harold (late Pat), Erlyene (late Paul), Don (Nancy), Mary (late Skip), Joan, Margaret (late Jack), Sharon (Alex).  Predeceased by his parents G.A. and Ada Edwards and siblings, Gladys (late Bob), Bert (late Ruby) and Floyd (Winnie).  Warmly remembered by many nieces and nephews.  Chester was hospitalized August 7, 2016 and Maple View became his new home November 3, 2016, where he courageously battled liver disease, kidney failure and prostate cancer. Friends are invited to attend at Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre for a Memorial Service on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 10 am. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
