Passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at the age of 71.
Beloved husband of Shirley Dwyer (nee McFarlane) for 43 years. Loving father of Russell Dwyer (Andrea Johnson) and Kevin Dwyer. Proud grandpa of Rebecca Dwyer and Aria Saranic. Predeceased by his parents June (nee Sagle) and Russell Dwyer. Dear brother of Lee Anne Hillstrom (Garth) and predeceased by Linda Brock (Ben), and Terry Dwyer. Son-in-law of Garry and Patricia (nee Wallace) McFarlane. Brother-in-law of Sheila Cyr (Normand), Douglas McFarlane, and Donna McFarlane. Cherished uncle of Sheryl, Valerie, Jennifer, Pamela, and Matthew and great uncle to many wonderful nieces and nephews. Peter will be missed and fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East 705-759-2522) on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 between 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm.
