It is with heartfelt sadness, that we announce the peaceful passing of Andre, surrounded by his loving family at ARCH on Monday, February 4, 2019 at the age of 62. Beloved husband and travel companion of Anna for over 37 years. Proud and devoted father of Victoria (Jeff) and Paul (Kristi). Predeceased by his loving parents Gaston and Margot Dupont. Loved brother of Francie Davies (Ian). Loved son-in-law of the late James and Ruth Currie. Brother-in-law of James Currie (Viivi), Dan Currie (Belinda), Jack Currie (Debbie), Pam Marshall (Darryl) and Mary Ann (Tom). Fun-loving uncle of Jessica (Martin), Mark (Valerie), Adrienne (Nick), Kaitlin (Brian) and Mihkel and his great niece and nephews. The love Andre had for his family was second to none, and with that he leaves us his legacy. The memories made during our family vacations will be held near and dear to our hearts. Andre loved the outdoors and spent his free time after retiring from the MNR, casting a line when he could. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Jerome’s Parish on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Pat Woods officiating. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to the SAH Foundation would be appreciated.
