Our wonderful wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Monday, August 29, 2016 at the age of 87. Much loved wife of Harry for 61 years. Kind-hearted Mom of Jeff (Christine), Marilyn (Steve), the late Daryl (Janet), the late Mark (Olga) and Marsha (Ian). Gentle Nana of Sarah (Kevin), Tim and Alison (Alex), Angella (Mike), Krista (Ken), Danielle, Ashley, Candice, Richard and Casie. Great Nana of James Mark. We will miss her warm smile, patience, gentle touch, support, never ending advice and kindness and most of all being called “honey bun”. Mom didn’t like saying goodbye, because she said that they were forever; she preferred “so long for now”. A private family service was held. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
