On January 13, 2017 our Mom, Grandma, sister, daughter, friend, left to be with her Lord. She is survived by her son Michael Dowding (Danielle) her daughter Katherine Dowding and her granddaughter Ellen. No words can express the depth of our loss. Verna will be deeply missed by her Mom, Dorothy McQueen (late Ken McQueen) and siblings Joyce Hocken (John), Ron McQueen (Dorothy), Len McQueen (Brenda), Donna Wilhelm (Arthur) and Scott McQueen (Tammy).
Auntie Verna will always be in the memories and hearts of her nieces and nephews. 42 years of dedicated work at the City of Sault Ste. Marie.
